Six Hours 2 Changelog
v1.4.2 (July 26 2025)
Changes:
- Environmental effects in Nightmare Mode now appear grayscale in camera views
Bug Fixes:
- The left vent will no longer sometimes be blocked from the flashlight on the start of a night
- Ginja now properly appears behind other animatronics in the office
- Environmental effects in Nightmare Mode now properly show in both the office and cameras
v1.4.1 (July 20 2025)
Changes:
- Updated Studio 7e Logo
v1.4.0: THE SAVE UPDATE (April 4 2025)
Changes:
- Save data and Survival Mode high scores will now persist between gameplay sessions, even if you reload or close your browser. No more need for Save Codes!
- This feature is made possible using TurboWarp extensions, meaning the .sb3 will no longer be compatible with the Scratch website or desktop app. If you want to look through the source code or remix the game, you are now required to use TurboWarp.
- The game will automatically save your progress when a night is completed, when a Survival Mode run ends, when cheats are purchased in the shop, and when secret cutscenes finish
- Save data can be exported and imported as .scs2 files
- To convert a legacy Save Code to the new system, please visit the Six Hours Save Conversion Tool at https://studio-7e.itch.io/6hsaveconvert
- The old Save and Load buttons have been removed, and new "Export Save" and "Import Save" buttons have been added to the Options menu to replace them. NOTE: You must click back into the game window after exporting a save for the game to respond to input.
- A new button has been added to the Options menu that resets all save data. This replaces the old functionality of holding R, which has been removed.
- The "Best (NM) Time This Session" variables have had "This Session" removed
- The Custom Night button is now hidden when Survival Mode is enabled
- The New Game/Continue buttons are replaced by a "Play Survival" button when Survival Mode is enabled
- In (Non-Nightmare) Survival Mode, all animatronics use their Night 3 AI levels
Bug Fixes:
- Large sprites are no longer blurry. NOTE: This may cause performance issues on some devices. In those cases, we recommend downloading the .sb3 and playing in TurboWarp Desktop.
- Survival Mode and cheats will no longer be toggled off when returning to the Main Menu after a night
- Inputting an invalid Save Code/File will no longer set stars to 1 or unlock all cheats (HOW LONG HAS THAT BEEN A BUG???)
- Loading/clearing a save file will now correctly return the game to the title screen
- Completing a Custom Night no longer awards money, and money overflow handling is now consistent between Normal and Nightmare Mode
- The Time and Best Time variables now hide when the game over screen starts fading out, rather than right after a jumpscare
- Ginja's jumpscare now stops phone calls
